In my first year as head of The Town School in New York City, I'm enjoying the challenges of learning the ropes in a new school and being a passionate Red Sox fan in enemy territory. Prior to Town, I spent six years as the head of Elmwood Franklin School in Buffalo, NY. My career in schools started at Concord Academy (MA) as a history teacher, dorm parent, and coach before stints at Kent Denver School (CO) and Pine Point School (CT). My wife, Helen, is also an educator, and we have two daughters. In my free time, I enjoy cycling, playing hockey, and exploring New York.
